ABOUT DAWN

Being one of four sisters, I have been carving out a niche for myself since day one. I found my identity in being the imaginative one, always driven by creativity. After beginning my career in business and marketing, my husband and I started a family, and I decided to follow my true passion for design. I added an A.A. in Interior Design to my B.A. in Business and Marketing and started Dawn Crovo Interior Design in 2007.

Given my deep connection to family, I set out with the intention of creating inspired spaces that encourage people to more deeply connect with their homes, lives, and families. Over the years, I have grown a design niche for myself known for wellness-focused, natural, and functional interiors that are also approachable and family-friendly.

Beauty and functionality are the main ingredients for every home I design. My appreciation for a wide variety of design styles, combined with nearly 20 years of residential design experience, allows me to create spaces that are intentional and unique to every client. By carefully balancing a mix of natural textures with unique and well-blended textiles and curating vintage finds with contemporary elements, I create fresh, open spaces that are inspired by the senses while carefully blending the home with its natural surroundings. I draw my inspiration from the natural coastal surroundings of the Lowcountry I call home.

I understand the importance of listening carefully to each client’s needs and requests to create a unique, cohesive design that reflects their individual style, creating spaces that are not only filled with beauty and intention but are also functional for everyday family life.
